Vintage Small Walnut Veneer Fall Front Lockable Desk / Bureau / Secretaire

Vintage Small Walnut Veneer Fall Front Lockable Desk / Bureau / Secretaire

This walnut veneered bureau is small but mighty - it has been gently cleaned, oiled and waxed and is ready to be useful in a new space.

The bureau is solid and true and the lockable main compartment has two pigeon holes either side of a small shelf section and drawer (perfect for hiding biscuits). The green leather desk top has worked hard previously and has some scuffs and marks - please see the photos for more details and don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Please note on the top of the bureau there are small areas where the original varnish has come away, and on fronts of the drawers there are paler horizontal lines within the wood grain - it is not scratches - but part of its charm.

The bureau measures;
 - height 95.5cm
 - width at widest point 56cm
 - depth 42cm
 - depth of bureau when flap down 72cm
 - height of flap from floor when open 70cm

The bureau can be collected from N8 - North London, delivered for free within 3 miles of N8, delivered in Greater London for £30, London Congestion Zone £45, or delivered nationally by fully insured courier for £85.
(Apologies we are unable to deliver to the Scottish Islands and Highlands.)
