Vintage 1930s Modular Stacking Bookcase with Glazed Sliding Doors / Barristers

This is a stunning 1930s modular stacking bookcase; the top two compartments with glazed sliding doors and the base cabinet with sliding wooden doors. 

This particular bookcase doesn't have any branding, but we believe it to be a Minty of Oxford stacking bookcase - similar in style to barristers bookcases. The compartments join together and can be secured by twisting the wooden batons inside the tops of the two lower compartments.

The bookcase has been gently cleaned and oiled and is ready for service again. The glass is in excellent condition and runs beautifully on the aluminium runners. 

Other points to note;

 - There are some bumps, knocks and scratches on the wooden surround, as to be expected with a piece of this age

 - there is a little sun bleaching on the inside of the middle compartment

 - there are some small dents and knocks on the top of the unit, perhaps where something was picked up and put down more often
