Large Vintage French Opaline Round Dome Ceiling/Wall Light Shade

This large Vintage 60s/70's French Opaline Light shade is refined and elegant in its simplicity.

The lightshade is held by a metal fitting attached to the ceiling (or wall?) - with a fabulous a moving metal framework that grips, or un-grips the glass lip.
The lightshade measures 25cm in diameter with depth from the ceiling of approx 11.5cm. (The bulb and cord shown in the photos are for illustrative purposes only and not included in the sale, sorry.)
