Large Rare Distressed French SNCF Railway 70 Speed Limit Sign

A stunning rare vintage large SNCF French railway 70 Speed Limit sign.

Made from heavy coated board, it has been outside and left to nature and the elements resulting in this most glorious patina and finishes - almost like a painting.

On the right hand side of the painting - as you look at the photos, you can see a couple of pieces of the sign have broken off... the bright white/grey is part of the original coating that hasn't been as weathered.

There are (intentional) holes in the centre top and bottom where the sign would have been fixed to a mounting. The sign measures is 83cm x 83cm on approx 5mm board. 

The sign can be collected from N8, North London, delivered for free within 3 miles of N8, or sent via Parcelforce for £12.
