Large Antique Pier Mirror with Mahogany Frame And Barley Twist Detailing

This is a such an elegant wall mounted pier mirror with carved top pediment and mahogany surround with barley twist detailing.

The mirror is in excellent condition - we believe it has been replaced at some point during its life.

Please note; there are some marks, knocks and bumps within the frame and veneer as to be expected with an antique piece.

There are historical signs of some busy wood worm - particularly on the reverse, there are less signs on the front. As a precaution we have treated the mirror twice to be absolutely sure it is OK (we have and sell a lot of wooden products - the mirror was quarantined until it had been treated). The price reflects these markings.

The mirror & surround have been gently cleaned, oiled and waxed to bring back the richness of the wood and the hanging chain will be replaced (forgot to do this before photographing; the mirror will be ready to hang, upon receipt).
