Arts & Craft Bureau / Fall Front Writing Desk with Drawers in Golden Oak

This is a beautiful bureau in excellent condition, with exquisite carved detailing on the front of the drop down desk, and along the base of the drawer section.

The bureau has been deep cleaned, oiled and waxed and is ready to serve again; all drawers run smoothly and the original locking key works

Please note the following; 

On the top of the bureau is a slightly darker circle - possibly where are plant or lamp had sat before, and inside on the left hand side of the compartments there are some historical ink stains. Through years of use the bureau's previous owner was maybe right handed and opened the bureau from the top right hand side; when the flap is closed, the right hand side of the flap sits slightly away from the main unit, whereas the left hand side sits more flush. Please take a look at the photos and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

 - width - at widest point at the base 77cm

 - depth - at deepest point at the base 43cm

 - height of desk when flap down from floor 76.5cm

 - depth of bureau when the flap is down 72cm

 - working area when flap is down 50cm deep x 67cm across

The bureau can be collected from N8 - North London, delivered within 3 miles of N8 for free, Greater London for £30, within London's congestion zone for £45, or sent via fully insured national couriers for £85.
