Antique Victorian Mirror w/ Bevelled Glass & Mahogany Frame, Carved Pediment

This is a beautiful wall mounted mirror with carved top pediment and solid mahogany surround.

The bevelled glass mirror is wonderfully foxed, and mounted on its original wooden back. 

Please note along the top side-back edge there is a small section of carved beading missing (on the left hand side as you look at the mirror) - please see the photos that show this missing section from various angles. 

Along the sides of the wooden frame are smaller holes which indicate that the mirror might have previously been attached to a frame as part of a dressing table.

The mirror has been gently cleaned, oiled and waxed to bring back the richness of the wood and the hanging chain has been replaced.

 - width at base 69cm

 - depth at top 4.5cm

 - depth at base 3cm
