Antique Victorian Mahogany Barley Twist Stretcher Side Console Table

This is a stunning side / console / sofa table with the most glorious barley twist legs and stretcher.
The table has a rich mahogany veneer finish and our research shows we believe it was made in the mid to late 19th Century.

The table is in very good condition for its age - but like all of us, it has its quirks which makes it more unique and we like to think, fabulous...
 - there has been a historical mend to one of the legs where it joins to the top - there is a small 5mm gap that gives the very tiniest of tilts (you can also see the mahogany veneer has lifted slightly, but it is still secure).
 - the stretcher barley twist bar curves up very slightly in the middle
 - one of the castors isn't quite what it was, but still rolls and spins if required
 - as to be expected with a piece of this age, there are some knocks, bumps and scratches from previous good times
