Antique Thonet Model No.56 Dining / Cafe Chair, Pressed Wood Seat with Amazing Patina

This Thonet chair with stamp & label is a fabulous example of this classic design. 

The bentwood chair is in excellent condition for it's age; it has been gently cleaned, oiled and waxed and ready to be useful again - the chair is solid and true.

Whilst cleaning the chair we've maintained and glorified the beautiful patina that has developed over years of use.

There are knocks and bumps as to be expected with a antique piece - there is also an historical repair on the right hand side (as you sit) bentwood 'elbow' where a screw/join has been filled - please see the photos for more details and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
