Antique French Double Tambour Oak Office Cabinet.

This antique French tambour office cabinet is a thing of beauty, dating from 1940s - 1950s.

It's been deep cleaned, repaired, oiled & waxed. Broken rusty nails have been replaced with period brass screws.The wooden frame is believed to be oak, with the shelving made from pine.
There are six adjustable shelves, with two additional fixed at the bottom. Four of the shelves retain their original hand written French labels.
Both the tambour doors works perfectly with a locking mechanism at the top. There is one key that works both locks. The latch on one of the doors is cracked, but this does not affect its operation.

The piece dates from the mid 20th century and has patina & wear that reflects its age, there are some slightly darker spots on one side. Please check out the attached photos & do ask for more if required.

 - depth at deepest point 36.5cm
