Antique Edwardian Flame Front Narrow Bureau / Writing Desk With Four Drawers

The mahogany has four main drawers, the shelf supports need to be pulled out by hand. Inside, there is leather topped desk, there is a small scuff mark on the top right of the leather. There are three pigeon holes, two drawers and a central tambour section (perfect for hiding biscuits).

The bureau is supplied with the key for the main compartment, and key for the top drawer (this lock is a little stiff, but does work). 

The bureau has been gently cleaned and waxed, and is in excellent condition for its age, though there are a few small signs of wear, where are some light scratches and a few bumps and knocks as to be expected.
The back panel shows previous water damage (?), but the bureau is solid and true, nothing is visible from the front or sides. Please see the photos for more details and don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

 - height of flap from floor when open - 73cm
