Please note in the photos where some knocks and bumps show it's fine vintage. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe three compartments open and close with the spring-loaded mechanism, in assuming the top compartment was perhaps used more as this stays open for longer (whereas the bottom two close more quickly).
