The compartments join together and can be secured by twisting the wooden batons inside the tops of the two lower compartments.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe bookcase has been gently cleaned and oiled and is ready for service again.
