The bureau comes with a key for the lockable fall front roll top section.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe mahogany veneer is in great overall condition - there are some very light surface scratches, knocks and bumps as to be expected with a previously loved piece. All of the drawers run smoothly and have been gently waxed. Inside the desk section there are some small marks - more visible in certain lights.
