Storage Solutions - that are curiously pleasing to the eye

If you live in a space where things can get messy before anyone has poured the first cup of coffee for the day, (we do... teenagers) you will also get that things having their rightful place is the only way forward - even when things do go astray, if everyone know where it 'should be' kept it's almost half the battle...
*stares off wistfully into the distance - if only*...

Letters, leaflets, brochures and bills etc can all easily mount up into different piles to sort. One day. A designated place to put such things to file and sort can really help; this vintage letter rack / in tray could be just the thing.
Tidy desk, tidy mind and all that...

In order to create some order on your desk and for keeping paper clips, staplers, whole punches and snacks (!) this antique cash drawer could keep everything close to hand - it even has sloped sections for easy retrieval.

For keeping wine, beer and fizzy-pop bottles tidy... we often have a selection of crates.
This red vintage German beer crate is in great condition and can store up to 20 bottles.

This wooden storage crate was a happy find - it's been cleaned and waxed to bring the colour back to gloriousness. Measuring approx. 49cm x 33cm x 27cm it could hide, I mean tidy, all manner of things - as well as providing a useful coffee table situation if needed.

This storage unit is a belter. A hand made kitchen, or perhaps even bathroom, storage unit that is just rather fabulous. The unit was made to fit the two vintage crates - both of which have mesh bases perfect for adding in a little ventilation - for your onions, or towels...

To get the right storage, and / or storage that is a pleasure to use and look at is always the aim.
Possibly due to a lack of correct storage the author of this quote below has been lost... it sums up life regardless.
"Organising is a journey, not a destination"
You can say that again.
