We're always learning (it's one of the best bits of this business) - we'd not known until we found these, that these are in fact known as Barristers Bookcases / Cabinets.
We're not sure of the actual maker, but the bookcase / cabinet has the remnants of a Grand Rapids logo. The Grand Rapids Furniture Association was established in 1931; where numerous furniture manufacturers in the Michigan area were authorised to use the triangular logo as a mark of quality. The businesses had flourished along the river where logs could be easily transported.
It's stunning piece, and modular (the first type of flat pack?!) where all sides/pieces come apart. Perfect for storing glass-wear, crockery, books or...?

We love the industrial/utilitarian element of these tubular Net-A-Bye stacking chairs. The pale blue/grey paint on the tubular metal frame is worn in places adding loads of charm, but the chairs are firm and sturdy. The actual seat and back rests are made of super-firm board and are as shiny as the photo below shows!

It always comes back to storage.
This Mid-Century three drawer chest of drawers is a beauty and has such elegant detailing. It's been deep cleaned, sanded and then given many coats of Danish Oil to protect and bring the grain back to life.

The classic bentwood chair never fails to please.
These have a makers mark underneath, Fischel of Czechoslovkia. The chairs have again been deep cleaned and had several layers of Danish Oil applied to them to bring out the colour and seat-stamp detail.
The chairs are solid and firm and ready to serve again.
